Freelance Reporting, New York Times
In 2014, after I had gone into editorial and business communications work, I was called back into reporting for a few days when news broke that Montana's incumbent senator, John Walsh, had allegedly plagiarized his thesis at the Army War College. I contributed freelance work to two stories for The New York Times, receiving byline credit on one and tagline acknowledgement on the other.
